Meaning and boundaries

Ionoplast is not a generic synonym for all stiff interlayers, and manufacturer values cannot be transferred to an unidentified laminate.

Why it matters in glass restoration

Structural laminates, railings, canopies, and point-supported glass may depend on the identified interlayer and engineered load-duration behavior.
