Meaning and boundaries
Haze is an observation, not a cause. It may come from residue, corrosion, abrasion, coating change, interlayer condition, seal failure, condensation, or other mechanisms.
Why it matters in glass restoration
Diagnosis must locate the haze and identify its mechanism before choosing cleaning, polishing, coating work, unit replacement, or no action.
